Even though Icelandic horses have thrived living around the sea, they tend to stay away from it. Yet, as we approached the ocean, the unexpected happened.

Horses of all colors are perpetual symbols of hope, greatness and fortitude, but with white coats they are synonymous with those qualities as well as with intrigue, fantasy and myth.
The man was carrying a bag which looked deceivingly like a briefcase. It was as if he was traveling to work in an office building – nevermind that the closest town was more than a days walk away & this was the first person we had seen in hours. Also, we were in the middle of the desert.
